2008: McCarley completed 143 of 256 pass attempts for 2,714 yards and 35 touchdowns (8 int), he rushed for 1,163 yards on 150 carries 13 touchdowns. He recorded 36 tackles with eight interceptions returns for 103 yards.
ASWA 1A All-State First Team QB.
2007: McCarley picked off 11 passes this season as a junior (2007). He has thrown for 2,500 yards in his career. He picked up Times Daily All-Area First Team honors at defensive back and ASWA All-State Honorable Mention.
During his sophomore season McCarley picked off 10 passes.
Hearing from Duke, Georgia Tech and The Citadel at the end of 2007.

Awards:
2008 Week 4 Star of Alabama for game against Tharptown. Nine carries for 77 yards and two touchdowns, completed 10 of 18 pass attempts for 285 yards and four touchdowns, one two-point conversion, three interceptions on defense, returning one for 27 yard touchdown. |
