2008 Stats: Houston had a huge hand in his team's 5A Championship season rushing for 2,190 yards on 296 carries with 25 touchdowns. He also caught 9 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown. The senior also tossed a touchdown pass.
The MVP of the championship game, Houston rushed for 180 yards on 26 carries scoring three times in the 50-30 win over Russellville.
Houston was named First Team 5A All-State, Birmingham News All-State (All Class) Second Team, Orlando Sentinel All-Southern Team Alabama.
Star of Alabama for a game against Gulf Shores. Houston had 352 yards rushing on 29 carries with three touchdowns.
