in the past four years … has been named first-team all-state as a defensive back by the Alabama Sports Writers
Association (ASWA) each of the past two years … part of a Sweet Water senior class that compiled record of 56-
10 during career at school … has played safety on defense and quarterback on offense each of the past two years
… as a senior, he recorded 92 tackles on defense with six interceptions, seven pass breakups and one fumble
recovery … offensively, he had 452 yards rushing with six rushing touchdowns while throwing for 1,092 yards and
12 touchdowns … also handled holder duties for Sweet Water extra points and field goals … an excellent student,
Luker has been chosen as his school’s salutatorian for 2008 graduation … also participated in basketball and
