SENIOR YEAR: 37 receptions for 1,107 yards and 18 touchdowns, boasting an almost 30 yards per catch. During the regular season he also kicked two field goals and made 40 point after attempts. ASWA All-State wide receiver First Team. All-County (Shelby), The Birmingham News Super All-Metro WR.
JUNIOR YEAR: Gordon has started in every game since his sophomore season. He performs at several positions including cornerback, safety, receiver, kicker, kick-off returner and other special teams as well.
Gordon recorded 50 tackles as a junior and led Briarwood in pass break-ups his sophomore and junior season. He recorded four interceptions returning three for touchdowns. He blocked three punts, forced two fumbles and had two fumble recoveries as well.
Gordon had a 29.8 yard kick-off return average and returned one 95 yards for a touchdown. He went 31-of-31 PATs for the season and was 6-of-8 in field goals.
He has averaged 41 yards per catch and scored two touchdowns.
Gordon was named First Team All-County defensive back and Honorable Mention All-Metro defensive back.
He participated in the U.S. Army All-American Junior combine in San Antonio, Texas.
