2007 Awards: ASWA Super 12, ASWA First Team All-State Running Back, Orlando Sentinel All-Southern Team, All County, All Metro, Finalist for Mr. Football 2007. Montgomery Advertiser Class 5A-^A All-Metro Player of the Year (shared with Stanhope Elmore's Trey Lewis).
Albert's career totals: 3,467 yards rushing after moving to running back full time during the 2006 season. 1,021 yards receiving and 1,004 on kick/punt returns. The back to back All-State player scored 65 touchdowns.
Albert racked up 2,027 all-purpose yards his senior season. He rushed for 1,457 yards on 182 carries, caught 13 passes for 148 yards. On special teams he returned 16 punts for 263 yards and six kicks for 131 yards.
Albert recorded 217 carries for 1,655 yards and scored 27 touchdowns during his junior campaign. He averaged 110.3 yards per game. He added 28 catches for 323 yards and four touchdowns as well.
Albert recorded 854 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns during the state play-offs. He averaged 170.8 yards per game.
His best game came the day after Prattville assistant coach Lorenzo Pickett died of a heart attack at the Lions' Field House. Albert ripped off 216 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 38-7 win over McGill-Toolen.
Albert was named first team 6A All-State by ASWA for his junior season 2006, All County, All Metro.
