| Head Coach Johnny Wright: "He has become a dominant player with speed that can just not be blocked. He either uses his speed to get around you before you know what happens, or he just goes through you. He made up his mind this spring that he wanted to play college ball and went to work."
Williams earned Class 4A First Team All-State as a defensive end. He will begin his career in Tuscaloosa as a linebacker for the Crimson Tide.
Williams was second on his high school squad with 123 tackles, and he finished with 393 receiving yards and six touchdowns offensively.
