Intro: Terrance Wray

Terrance Wray, a 5-foot-9, 170-pound cornerback from Clay-Chalkville High School in Clay, Ala., has big plans for his senior season. With a good head on his shoulders, Wray is ready to play hard and do whatever he deems necessary for recognition as a top performer on the football field.

"I have attended a Nike combine and a Scout combine in Atlanta," Terrance Wray said. "I will also be attending one at UAB this Saturday (June 5th)."

Wray knows he has plenty of strengths on the gridiron and ready to step-up for the 2009 season.

"I have great recovery speed, a great eye for the ball, and I am good at making open field tackles," he said. "I will be making a lot of tackles, interceptions, and I am going to try my best to have the best stats on defense."

Wray is also working on his classroom performance.

"I have a 2.95 GPA, and I am working on getting it higher," he said. "I am also doing well on my attendance."

The defender has several schools as favorites as he continues looking for his first scholarship offer.

Alabama: "I like Nick Saban, and Alabama has a good football program."

UAB: "They have good athletes, and I think I could sign with them."

Auburn: "I am a fan, and their football program is getting better."
