The 'Stars of Alabama' were shining through mud and dry conditions last week. The 6A 'Stars of Alabama' for Week 10 presented here:

Xavier Morrow
5-11, 190 pounds

Gardendale High School

Morrow made the most of his last game by leading the Rockets' ground game with 250 yards on 23 carries. He also scored two touchdowns, helping Gardendale beat 5A rival Mortimer Jordan 42-24.

Ken Marbury
5-10, 170 pounds
Senior Quarterback
Minor High School

Marbury scored Minor's only touchdown against Florence in the third quarter. The 89-yard drive included a 66-yard draw play by Marbury and the three-yard run for the score that ultimately won the game 7-6. The senior rushed for 142 yards on a rain-soaked night on the road. The Tigers will travel this week to play top seeded Vestavia Hills in the first round of play-offs.

Justin Rogers
5-9, 180 pounds
Senior Kicker
Jess Lanier High School

Rogers' field goal with 4:32 left in the game made the score 17-7. Jess Lanier held on to defeat Stanhope Elmore 17-14. Top seed Jess Lanier hosts Pelham this week in the first round of play-offs.

Demarcus Milliner
6-1, 185 pounds
Senior Defensive Back/Running Back
Stanhope Elmore High School

Milliner scored both of the Mustangs' touchdowns in the fourth quarter in the 17-14 loss to Jess Lanier. He scored on a 35-yard run on third and long, and after a Lanier fumble scored again from the four yard line. Milliner is a University of Alabama commitment. Stanhope Elmore will travel this week to face the second seeded Central Phenix City. They lost earlier this year to the Red Devils in a 32-29 shootout.

Solomon Patton
5-9, 170 pounds
Senior Receiver
Murphy High School

Patton, a Florida commitment, caught seven passes for 130 yards including a 63-yard touchdown that helped Murphy defeat McGill-Toolen 24-17. The Panthers lost the last three meetings against the Yellow-Jackets, dating back to to 2005. No. 4 Murphy will travel to face the top seed, Fairhope, in the first round of play-offs.

Michael Brown
5-8, 170 pounds
Senior Running Back
Vestavia Hills High School

Brown rushed for 230 yards on 31 carries scoring on touchdown runs of 18, 1 and 7 yards for a 28-14 win over Shades Valley. Vestavia will host fourth seed Minor this week.

Fabian Truss
5-8, 165 pounds
Senior Running Back
Shades Valley High School

Truss put the final touches on an outstanding high school career when he rushed for 194 yards on 20 carries scoring two touchdowns on 63 and 2 yard runs in the loss to Vestavia.

Cordary Clark
6-2, 195 pounds

6-0, 190 pounds

Central Phenix City High School

The Red Devils rushed for 270 yards in the 20-12 win over Wetumpka. Hill rushed for 114 yards on 20 carries while Clark scored the game winning touchdown and rushed for 102 yards on 17 carries. Central Phenix City will host third seed Stanhope Elmore this week in the first round of the play-offs.

Ryan Carter
6-2, 180 pounds

Hoover High School

Carter completed 16-of-24 passes for 179 yards and three touchdowns in the 31-6 win over Sparkman. The second seeded Hoover hosts a tough opponent in Hillcrest Tuscaloosa this week in the first round of the play-offs.

Wilson recovered from a nagging leg injury to rush for 89 yards and two scores in the 19-7 win over Benjamin Russell. Wilson is now the all-time leading Husky rusher with 2,676 yards in his career. Stephens and Shannon both had 12 tackles in the game that took their team to an 8-2 regular season record. Pierce had eight tackles, recovered a fumble and blocked a field goal. Hewitt-Trussville travels to face the top seed Bob Jones this week in the first round of play-offs.

6-1, 195 pounds

5-9, 160 pounds
Sophomore Defensive Back
Dothan High School

LeGrand connected on his first nine passes on his way to a 13 for 16 172-yard performance in a must-win game for the Tigers. He scored on touchdown passes of 14, 73 and 18 yards. Flowers picked off two passes in the 21-6 win over Lee Montgomery. Dothan won their hard fought spot in the play-offs last week, but probably disappointed with the prize. They must face defending 6A champ and top seed Prattville on the road.

Daniel Manning
5-9, 185 pounds
Senior Running Back
Satsuma High School

Manning rushed for 227 yards on 26 carries scoring twice in the team's 34-21 win over Baker, their second win of the season.

Pee Wee Cobb
6-0, 180 pounds
Senior Defensive Back
Auburn High School

Cobb picked off his seventh pass of the season in a 49-14 win over Booker T. Washington. The top-ranked Tigers finished the season 10-0 and will face Lee-Montgomery in the first round of the play-offs.
