Walker High School

Kirk had a 90-yard kick-return for a touchdown, a punt return for 36 yards and a touchdown. The junior had a 25-yard touchdown reception. He finished the night with three catches for 43 yards.

Hunter Morrow
5-10, 150 pounds
Junior Quarterback
McAdory High School

Morrow was 6-of-6 passing with 125 yards scoring four touchdowns in the 41-14 win over Brookwood. McAdory had already secured the region championship last week against Fairfield.

6-3, 205 pounds

McGavin was 5-for-10 for 74 yards and had seven rushes for 134 and one touchdown. Peters had nine rushes for 98 yards and one touchdown and three catches for 31 yards in the 37-14 win over Citronelle.

Elkins rushed for 162 yards on 24 carries in his team's 21-14 win over Madison County.

The Samford commitment graded 95-percent with four pancake blocks in his team's 14-12 win over Arab.

6-foot, 175 pounds

Charles Henderson High School

Edenfield threw 110 yards and was 6-of-14 with one touchdown. He rushed for 135 yards on 25 carries. He added seven tackles on defense including an interception.

6-3, 210 pounds

Russellville High School

Calloway, an early Alabama commitment for the class of 2011, rushed for 144 yards on 13 carries and 50 yards on a kickoff return. He added two sacks on defense in the 28-14 win over Athens that secured a second seed in the play-offs.

Smith was 13-of-21 passing for 190 yards and four touchdowns and a two-point conversion in the 28-21 win over Chilton County. He added 29 yards rushing on 10 carries. Watson had four catches for 101 yards scoring twice. Carter, an Auburn commitment, had 17 tackles, 11 solo and six assists.

Hughes had 29 carries for 126 yards and two touchdowns. He was 7-of-14 passing with one touchdown in the 28-21 loss to top-ranked Greenville.

Crabtree was 14-of-22 passing for 224 yards and three touchdowns. He rushed four times for 35 yards in the 38-14 win over Scottsboro. Dodd had eight solo tackles and one assist, and recovered a fumble for a touchdown.

6-0, 170 pounds

Davis led Woodlawn in their 21-14 win over Central-Tuscaloosa. He ran for 169 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. He threw for another touchdown and added two interceptions on the defensive side of the ball.

Hicks finished with 155 receiving yards on four catches in the 56-10 throttling of Mortimer Jordan. Wheeler completed 10 passes in the first half for 255 yards and scored five touchdowns of 31, 22, 53, 85 and 27 yards. He finished the night with 267 yards passing.

Mardis had 14 carries for 106 yards and one touchdown. He added 15 tackles on defense, 10 solos, five assists, and a quarterback hurry. He played 135 snaps on both sides of the ball and 13 tackles shy of breaking the All-Time tackles' record at Scottsboro High School.

John Carroll High School

Covington caught five passes for 161 yards and three touchdowns in the team's 28-7 win over Talladega. Bunio completed 13 passes for 263 yards and four touchdowns.

Honorable Mention:

Jordon Huff, Freshman and David Steadman, Senior Kicker, St. Paul's High School - Huff scored three touchdowns while Steadman kicked a 30-yard field goal in the final minute of regulation to force overtime in a 25-19 win over Escambia County.

Tae Lewis, Senior Running Back, Shelby County High School - ran 66 yards for a score, a 7-yard touchdown run and receptions of 31 and 30 yards for the night. Lewis finished with six carries for 84 yards and two scores.

Reginald Aaron, 6-1, 190 pounds, Senior Quarterback, Carver Montgomery High School - Aaron was 14-of-18 for 371 yards passing, four touchdowns and one interception in his team's 49-13 win over Monroe County.

Connor Adams, 6-1 195 pounds, Senior Running Back, Cullman High School - Adams rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns in the 28-13 win over Mountain Brook.

Jake Campbell, Junior Wide Receiver, Chelsea High School - Campbell had eight catches for 119 yards and a touchdown.

D.J. Washington, Junior Wide Receiver, Chelsea High School - Washington had 22 carries for 107 yards and two scores.

Josh Smith, 5-11 180 pounds, Senior Wide Receiver/Defensive Back, Parker High School - picked off two passes in the 50-21 win over Carver including a 43-yard touchdown and a 55-yard return to the Rams' five yard line. He returned a kick for an 84-yard score.

Orlando Stringer, 6-3, 195 pounds, Senior Outside Linebacker, Carver-Birmingham High School - Stringer had 12 tackles and one fumble recovery in the 50-21 loss to Parker.

Willie Young, Junior and Theotis Edumunds, Junior, Fairfield High School - Young rushed for 129 yards on 15 carries, scored three times on runs of 7, 3 and 13 yards. Edumunds had a 45-yard touchdown run and added a 17-yard touchdown reception. He rushed 72 yards on three carries and caught four passes for 75 yards.

LaDre Stephenson, Senior Athlete, LeFlore High School - Stephenson caught a 25-yard touchdown pass for the winning score in the 4th quarter over Vigor, 15-14.

Caleb Harper and Marquis Dobbs, Mortimer Jordan High School - Harper hit a 43-yard field goal during 4th quarter. Dobbs had 160 yards rushing and a touchdown on 19 carries.

Ryan Horton, 5-9, 175 pounds, Junior Linebacker and Julius Jones, 6-4, 180 pounds, Senior Wide Receiver - Athens High School - Horton had 12 solo tackles and three assists. Jones had six receptions for 136 yards and one touchdown.

Tim'Vontae Walker, 5-7, 180 pounds, Senior Running Back, Valley High School - carried the ball 22 times for 146 yards.

Phillip Newby, 6-2 , 185 pounds, Junior Tailback and Matt Crowe, 5-10, 185 pounds, Middle Linebacker, Brewer High School - Newby ad 154 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Crowe has 18.5 total tackles with 16 solo.

Grant White, 6-1, 185 pounds, Senior Wide Receiver, Monroe County High School - White had four receptions for 95 yards and one touchdown.

Eder Martinez, 5-10, 215 pounds, Senior Middle Linebacker, Curry High School - had 18 tackles, 10 solo and eight assists.

Bruce Boydstun, 6-3, 240 pounds, Senior Full Back/Defensive End, East Limestone High School - rushed for 101 yards and had three touchdowns on offense. He added seven tackles on defense, two sacks, a 41-yard interception for a touchdown and five quarterback hurries.

Quinton Tate, 5-10, 175 pounds, Junior Running Back/Defensive Back and Derrick Bailey, 5-9, 165 pounds, Senior Wide Receiver/Defensive Back and James Williams 6-4, 260 pounds Senior Defensive End, Booker T Washington High School -
Tate caught three passes for 54 yards and rushed for 73 yards on seven carries in the 27-14 loss to Beauregard. He added seven tackles on defense and two pass break-ups. Bailey returned a 99-yard kick for a touchdown and added two catches for 27 yards. Defensively, the senior had four tackles with two for negative yardage. Williams had 11 tackles for a total of seven negative yards and two quarterback sacks.
