Outstanding performances by frequent visitors to our 'Stars of Alabama' as well as several newcomers who made a difference in their team's victory.

Damion Bracy

Jackson High School

Bracy had 26 rushes for 249 with three touchdowns to lead Jackson (8-1) to a 39-20 victory over Thomasville (8-1). In the 3rd quarter, Bracy had 10 rushes for 150 yards with two touchdowns runs of 29 and 51 yards.

UMS-Wright

Dukes had 239 yards rushing on 23 carries. UMS-Wright (7-2) beat Andalusia (5-4) 43-12 behind Dukes' five rushing touchdowns from 39, 4, 5, 12, and 5 yards.

Montel Hale
5-9, 165
Junior, Running Back
North Jackson High School

Hale scored five touchdowns, three rushing and two receiving as Noth Jackson (6-3) upended Fairview (7-2). Hale rushed for 125 yards on 20 carries, and had 169 receiving yards on eight catches.

Jeremy Hyde

Sophomore, Wide Receiver
Calera High School

Wells was 8-of-10 passing for 243 yards and four touchdowns. He also ran for 145 yards on nine carries and added two rushing touchdowns. Calera (7-2) beat Southside-Selma (4-5) 61-26. Hyde had five catches for 205 yards and four touchdowns that went for 44, 48, 27, and 62 yards.

Alexandria High School

Johnson scored the winning touchdown from eight yards away with 21 seconds left on the clock as Alexandria (6-3) beat Hokes Bluff (5-4) 21-14. Johnson had 23 carries for 226 yards and three touchdowns in the win. He has been impressive this season with 150 carries for 1,198 yards (7.98 average) and 17 touchdowns.

Malvin Anderson
5-5, 155
Junior, Running Back
Ashford High School

Anderson broke a scoreless tie in the second quarter on a 59 touchdown run. Anderson carried 16 times for 163 yards as Ashford (5-4) beat St. James (5-4) 14-0.

Deion Belue

Deshler High School

The Alabama commitment returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown and had five carries for 88 yards and a rushing touchdown as Deshler (8-1) got past Brooks (7-2) in a big way 47-21.

Oak Grove High School

Furlow had 18 carries for 194 yards and scored four touchdowns as Oak Grove (6-3) blew past Corner (2-7) by a score of 41-7.

D.J. Howard

Lincoln High School

The Auburn commitment rushed 10 times for 180 yards with two touchdowns as Lincoln (6-3) rolled over Munford (3-7) by a 47-0 score.

William Ingle

Plainview High School

Ingle had 153 rushing yards on 17 carries and three touchdowns as Plainview (6-3) downed K.D. Smith DAR (5-4) by a 38-21 score.

Jamarcus Nelson
5-11, 170
Senior, Wide Receiver
Midfield High School

Trailing Haleyville 0-17, Nelson tried to bring Midfield back by himself with a 70 kickoff return for a touchdown and a 12-yard pass reception from quarterback Justin Evans. The comeback fell short 14-17 as Midfield (8-1) took their first loss. Haleyville went to 7-2 for the season.
