"I am playing all over this year. We are going to be good, especially on defense. I am going to play cornerback, free safety, quarterback, some running back, split end and kick off and punt return. It's going to be fun."
Belue has set goals for his senior season as he explained, "I would say my biggest goals for this year are mainly just going to state like always. I want to play in the Alabama/Mississippi All-State game. I want to have a fun year. It's my last year."
Belue gave a commitment to the Tide in June and sees the best of both worlds with his decision.
"In a way it kind of feels strange to already have my commitment over with," he said. "It's a big load off my back. I thought I made a very good choice by choosing Alabama. I love the chance of playing time down there. I also love the academics down there. It was the best decision for me."
"I went down to Alabama for their last camp. I sat around and hung out. Everything was good. I felt like I fit right in down there. I haven't talked to any of the coaches in a while."
"I plan on going to a few games down there this year. I haven't really checked up on them. I think they are going to make another run for it."
The No. 29 ranked cornerback in the country is one of the top athletes in the state. A great senior season, on and off the field, will see his ranking escalate as well as his grades.
"My class turned out pretty good this summer," Belue said. "I came out with an A in my class. The class I had to make up was from my ninth grade year was World History. I am in good shape right now. I am going to take ACT again. Whenever it comes back up I am going to take it. I made a 17 the first time."
