2008: Carter played defensive tackle and offensive guard and made 60 tackles with six sacks on defense.

Greenville finished the 2008 season 7-4 losing to Charles Henderson (24-19), and Carver Montgomery (40-18) in the first two games of the season.

Greenville went on a five game winning streak before Demopolis ended the run with a defeat of 48-41.

The next loss came in the first round of the state play-offs where Briarwood Christian came up with the win in a heartbreaking score of 15-14.
