Jawara White, three-star linebacker from Troy-Charles Henderson, Ala., will face a future teammate in the season opener of Alabama high school football. White committed to Auburn in late June.

2008: White was named 5A honorable mention Athlete by ASWA with 88 tackles, one interception, six caused fumbles, two fumble recoveries, five batted balls, four sacks, and one defensive touchdown. He rushed for 410 yards and caught passes for 375 yards and seven offensive touchdowns. White averaged 25 yards per punt return, and 28 yards per kick-off return.

Charles Henderson finished the 2008 season 7-4 with losses to Valley (31-14), Theodore (41-38), Beauregard (28-16). They lost in the first round of the play-offs to Citronelle (3-0).

Charles Henderson defeated Greenville in 2008 24-19.

Kenneth Carter, three-star defensive tackle from Greenville, committed to Auburn in July.
