Clint Moseley, quarterback from Leroy, (Ala.), continues to put up outstanding numbers each week. Moseley entered his senior season with the defending 2A back-to-back champion Bears with more than 5,000 yards passing, 45 career passing touchdowns and 12 career interceptions while adding 1,348 yards and 19 touchdowns on the ground.

Clint Mosely has been offered scholarships from UAB, South Alabama, Samford and Arkansas State. Jacksonville State also came calling for the three-year starter.
"I still have the four offers, and I picked up a new one Thursday," Moseley said. "I was leaving our pregame lunch and had a voicemail on my cell. I called back, and it was Jacksonville State. They told me I would have a written offer in the mail next week. They said they really want me to come play there."
So with the news of a new offer, Moseley took to the field Thursday night to battle cross-river rival No. 12 Jackson (4A) in the "Battle of the Tombigbee."
The Aggies were in the top 10 in 4A in scoring defense before the game, but Moseley led his team to a school record 63 points in a 63-34 Leroy win. He improved to 4-0 against Leroy’s biggest rival and helped the Bears win a school record 15th straight game.
Moseley was 12-of-20 for 217 yards and a touchdown passing while adding 88 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
"It was the biggest game of the season, so far, with both teams being undefeated at 4-0," Mosely said. "The hype, the trash-talking, just the pure hate between the two schools really built up the game."
"We came out during the week and had great practices. Every one of our players gave everything they had. I think it's safe to say we executed about as good as we could offensively. We pretty much played flawless all night."
Moseley is hearing from a few more schools on top of his new offer from JSU.
"I am hearing from UAB, South Alabama, Memphis, Marshall, Wofford, Jacksonville State, Arkansas State, Alabama, Auburn, Southern Miss and Tulane. Arkansas State is probably recruiting me the hardest," he explained.
While Moseley doesn’t list any favorites and is pretty much wide-open, he did talk about each of the schools showing interest.
Arkansas State: "I really like their program and the interest they are showing. I still don’t know all that much about them. I know they are a good football team. I like their coaches a lot. We all have good relationships."
"They seem to be very interested in me, and that is a key for me to make my decision. Good football team that is interested in me. What else would I want to look for?"
South Alabama: "That is somewhere I could go and kind of be the face of a new program. A lot of my friends are down there now from the team last year. Grant [Brown] may end up going there. [Michael] Bracy may get an offer to go there. Aerik [Davis] may go there. So all my teammates are going down there, so that will make it hard not to go. I like all of that."
"I love Mobile. It is not that far from home. I like coach Craig [Demeyune] and coach [Joey] Jones. I like everything about it. Also the baseball situation is good. I have the choice to play if I want to.”
UAB: "I talk to them a little bit. They have actually kind of slacked off. I think they may have picked up a quarterback. I talked to Coach [Todd] Helton. He said they are still recruiting me. I like him a lot. He is one of my favorites. It is a definite consideration."
Memphis: "I really like the offense they run. I get along with the coaches. They have been here a few times to visit. They are a pretty good football team."
Marshall: "I talked to coach [Mike] Cumming. He recruits this area. Since they have been able to call, he has called as much as he is allowed. He seems pretty interested. Being so far away, a lot of things would have to be right for me to go that far away from home. But is something I would consider for sure."
Auburn: "I went to the Auburn-LSU game last weekend. It was awesome. I loved it up there. It was great. I liked the offense. I am very interested in them."
"I haven’t talked to coach [James] Willis in awhile. Just enough for him to put me on the list for the game I guess. At the game, not one coach talked to me or any other recruit that was around me. I didn’t see any coaches. So I didn’t know what to think about that. I guess they are still interested in me.”
Alabama: "They are still sending a ton of letters. I have talked to coach [Burton] Burns a few times since they have been able to call me. He told me I am still on the list. So I don’t know.”
“I really don’t know when I will commit. Maybe after the season. Hopefully things will go right if I keep working hard. After state, or however far we go, I will sit down and think about things and maybe make a decision."
"My final decision will come down to how interested the schools are in me. But then again, I want to go to a prestigious program. Somewhere that is big."
The talented senior also excels in the classroom with a 4.0 G.P.A. with a 24 on the ACT.
