J.O. Johnson's Jeremy Isabelle ready to play

ScoutSouth.com talked with Jeremy Isabelle earlier in the week, and the J.O. Johnson standout athlete is healthy, and ready for the season to begin. Jeremy Isabelle will line up all over the field for the Jaguars this season, and he says he is 100-percent healthy for the first time in a while.
Isabelle started last season with a disappointing injury. He missed the entire regular season due to a broken leg. He did make it back in time for the first round of the 5A state playoffs, where he got his first start of the season at cornerback.
The talented athlete hopes for better results this season, as he tells ScoutSouth.com about his future with the Jags, and beyond.
“Practice is going really well,”
Jeremy Isabelle
told ScoutSouth.com from the Jags practice facility.
“I think we have a chance to be real good on defense. We have a lot of seniors returning on the defensive side of the football."
The Jags lost talented quarterback
David Isabelle
last season, as he now plays quarterback for the
UAB
Blazers. Much has been made of how Coach Wells will fill that void. Jeremy Isabelle appears as one answer to the problem.
“I will play quarterback some,” Jeremy Isabelle stated. “I will also line up at wide receiver in certain situations.”
Despite missing most of his junior season, and part of his sophomore season, Isabelle is still hearing from college recruiters.
“I am hearing from
Middle Tennessee
,
Memphis
and UAB. I went to camp at UAB this summer, and I liked how everything was set up down there. I had a good camp, and they have stayed in contact with me over the summer.”
“They want to see me in a game this season before they decide if they want to offer me, or not. I think my being 100-percent for the first time in a while will really help my recruitment this fall."
"I’m pretty big for a cornerback, and everyone seems to like me on the defensive side of the football."
