“I had a lot of fun at the camp. I thought it was going to be like a combine where we ran the 40 and that kind of stuff, but it was more about one-on-one drills. I really enjoyed myself,” Brandon Gottfried said from his home in Tuscaloosa, (Ala.).
“I thought I had a real good day during the one-on-one drills. I wasn’t shut down by anyone all day, and I caught every ball that was thrown to me. I didn’t drop a ball all day."
“I thought the talent level was good, but no one really stood out to me. I didn’t see anyone that looked like a phenom to me, but I’m sure I didn’t see everyone.”
“I really enjoyed it and I would do it again."
Gottfried is a 2010 prospect, and he reports a new school showing some interest.
“Southern Miss has sent me some mail, but it’s nothing out of the ordinary,” he noted.
Gottfried also said he hasn’t heard from South Alabama at this time.
“I think this is their first year to have a football team, but I haven’t heard from them at this point," Gottfried concluded.
