Brooks Johnson Back from Kentucky

Brooks Johnson is receiving a lot of interest from programs around the country. His recruiting is about to heat up even more with his recent visit to the Wildcats and upcoming visits to Memphis and Arkansas.

"I went to Kentucky last Saturday, and I talked to Coach Thurmond while I was there. He told me I was one of the top three tight ends on their board," Brooks Johnson told ScoutSouth.com from his home in Decatur, (Ala.).

"I got to watch the spring game, and they throw the ball to their tight ends a lot. We also met all the coaches while we were there. Coach Brooks talked to all the recruits while we were eating. All the coaches at Kentucky are very personable, and they are very high on my list since my visit."

Johnson will have a busy weekend as he has travel plans to two different states.

"I am going to Memphis Friday to meet Coach West and the rest of the staff. They have already told me I am their top tight end on their recruiting board, so I'm looking forward to getting up there to meet them," Johnson exclaimed.

"I will leave Memphis and travel to the Arkansas spring game Saturday. They have been recruiting me, and they invited me out to watch their spring game."
