DeMario McNeal and Jeremy Isabelle are two college prospects for the J.O. Johnson Jaguars in Huntsville, (Ala.). McNeal is a stand-out linebacker/strong safety for the Jags, but he is recruited as a linebacker at the next level. Isabelle, while seeing limited action due to injury, has garnered interest as a defensive back.
“I haven’t been anywhere since I went to
Alabama
’s Junior Day,”
DeMario McNeal
said from his home in Huntsville, (Ala.).
“Alabama has invited me to camp, and I’m going to try to go down there for their two day camp this summer.”
“I want to go to
Auburn
,
Tennessee
,
Georgia Tech
and
Mississippi State
for their camps if I can get there."
“I have been hearing from Alabama,
Georgia
Tech,
Ole Miss
, Mississippi State and
UAB
. Mississippi State is probably recruiting me the hardest right now."
“I want to get to a couple of combines this summer if I can. Other than that I am going to continue to work hard in the weight room getting ready for next season."
McNeal reports in at 6-2, 225 and has recently run a 4.67 40-yard dash.
Jeremy Isabelle
is the brother of UAB signee
David Isabelle
, and it appears athleticism runs in the family.
While Jeremy has been hampered throughout his career by injuries he has still managed to catch the eye of a few recruiters. He plans to impress more during his senior season in 2008.
“I haven’t been hearing from anyone lately,” Jeremy Isabelle stated. “The last visit I took was to Alabama’s Junior Day, but I’m thinking about going to Auburn this weekend, and Georgia a little later."
“The only school staying in touch with me right now is
Middle Tennessee
State. They have invited me to their Junior Day and summer camp.”
“I have been staying busy playing baseball and running track. I run the 200, 400, 4X100 relay, the 4X400 relay and the 4X800 relay."
“I would like to go to a couple of combines this summer and a few football camps."
Jeremy Isabelle reports in at 6-2, 185. He is recruited as a defensive back and plays cornerback and wide receiver for the Jags.
