Glenn Harbin Talks Tuscaloosa Visit

Glenn Harbin, three-star defensive lineman from Mobile-McGill-Toolen, Ala., officially visited the University of Alabama this weekend. Did he pull the trigger and commit to the Tide during the visit?

"No sir, I didn't commit," Glenn Harbin said. "The visit was good though. I had a lot of fun. I talked to a lot of the coaches and some professors about my degree."

Harbin talked about his favorite part of the trip, "Meeting with the professor was my favorite part. He talked about the computer engineering program and about how many academic All-Americans Alabama has. He just let me know some of the things I need to know about my degree."

Alabama hosted a big group of talented players over the weekend, and Harbin said he has developed a close relationship with several.

"Destin (Hood), Ivan Matchett, Courtney Upshaw and Barrett Jones were the guys I hung out with the most. They are all really good guys, and we have a good relationship," Harbin said.

With Alabama already holding verbal commitments from 26 high school seniors, the Crimson Tide only has a few spots remaining before the class is full. Harbin will continue with his visits.

"I am going to North Carolina (1-19) this weekend, South Carolina on the 21st, LSU on the 26th and Florida on February 2. I think I will make my decision after my visits," Harbin said.

Does any team lead for the 6-5, 235-pound lineman?

"No, not really. It is going to come down to how much I like the school. I don't really have any favorites," Harbin said. Recommended Stories
