Lee-Huntsville travels to Scottsboro

Jarrett Burns

Lee High has struggled throughout the 2007 season with only two wins on the season, but they have been improving as the season wears on. It also helps Jarrett Burns has healed from a slight knee injury earlier in the season.

Scottsboro comes in with a 5-2 record with impressive wins over defending 4A champ, Guntersville, and a 20-0 decision over Etowah. The two losses were close games with power house North Jackson, and then a surprising upset loss to Albertville last week.

While Scottsboro has lost two of their last three games Lee's Jarrett Burns knows his team will need a very good effort to earn a victory.

"Oh, we know it's going to be a tough game up there," Jarrett Burns said from his home in Huntsville (Ala). "We'll need to play very well to get out of there with a win."

Burns is coming off his first game at 100 percent since Week 3, and it showed on the stat sheet.

"I had two interceptions, three pass break-ups, five tackles and two receptions for 65 yards last week. I feel like I'm 100 percent again," Burns stated.
