Central Tuscaloosa Visits Fayette County

Fayette County will have a tough time trying to stop Central Tuscaloosa's endless talent on offense. The question is can they pace them and score with them. The Falcons have four shutouts in six games, but in the two games they did allow points in fact they allowed a big sum of points.

The first game was a 72-38 victory over Greene County. Coach Pete believes in getting the younger members of the squad playing time.

The next game they allowed another team to breathe with 6A Northridge. As bad as their 2-4 record might appear in comparison to Central Tuscaloosa's 6-0, this team averages 34.5 points per game albeit on the strength of an 84-point performance against Paul Bryant. Don't discount their quarterback Will Strickland. The senior signal caller is putting up some big numbers this season. So the 31 points looks legit.

Yratings.com lists Central Tuscaloosa with a power rating of 132.4 which is second only to the number one ranked North Jackson squad that has been playing a little tougher competition in the last couple of weeks and taking care of them handily.

Fayette County is rated 16th with a power rating 109.9. They also predict this a 22- point victory by Central Tuscaloosa. Tuscalosa County took the contest 46-21 meeting last season. The only regular season loss the Tigers had until they met up with Andalusia at the end of the season. Redemption is probably going on their minds.
