Several Schools Taking Hard Look
"I got a call from the Arkansas coaches this morning, and they said I was the next guy on their list to offer. They are coming to watch me in the next couple of weeks," Jarrett Burns exclaimed from his Huntsville home.
"I talked to Coach Markuson and Coach Cooper, and they are both coming up to watch me play. They said they had heard about my game last week, and they liked how I hit people from my safety position. They said they wanted physical defensive backs at Arkansas, and they thought I would fit in well."
Arkansas isn't the only school staying in close contact with Burns as he added, "I still hear from South Carolina every week. I talked to them Thursday, and they are still saying that they may offer me soon."
"Last week I talked to Coach Cignetti (Alabama), Coach Dabo Swinney (Clemson), Coach Sanders (Kentucky), and Coach Dawsey at FSU."
"I think Arkansas, Kentucky and South Carolina are the closest to offering me, or they are recruiting me the hardest, it seems."
While Lee has struggled with some close losses this season the dual threat athlete made good impressions while traveling the camp circuit this summer. It appears to be paying off for him down the stretch run of the season.
"I guess I'll just have to wait until something breaks, but it looks better right now than it has at any point so far," Burns stated.
Jarrett Burns has an offer from Louisiana Tech.
