Gators High with Love

Tyler Love, a National 100 offensive lineman from Mountain Brook, (Ala.), took an unofficial visit to Gainesville to take a closer look at the University of Florida. Love talks about the trip and where the Gators rank among his favorites.

"I went down there Thursday and Friday," Tyler Love said. "I went down there with my brother and parents. The visit went pretty good. I had a great time, and I really enjoyed it."

"I pretty much got more affiliated with the campus and coaching staff. I got to interact with the players, and I met some of the new freshman who are there working out."

"I hung out with coach [Steve] Addazio, coach [Dan] Mullen and coach [John] Hevesy. We didn't just talk about football. We talked about life in general."

"I like their coaching staff and how they are different than other staffs I have met. They are more family oriented. They work hard everyday to achieve the goals they want to achieve."

"The players are great. They are open to talk to anyone. The seniors talked to me, and that was cool because I am only going to be a senior in high school. It was really cool they would do that."

The 6-7, 280-pound offensive tackle has narrowed his choice of schools to five. He plans to take a few more visits this summer and will begin official visits in the fall.

"Right now Florida is pretty high on my list. My top five is Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Georgia and Oklahoma. I am going to try to make it to Alabama this upcoming Tuesday. I am going to try to go to Florida State and back to Athens before the summer is over," Love said.

"I am going to take my visits during the season. I would like to take all five, but I don't know if that is going to work out."
