Alabama Commitment to Visit Out-of-State

Alabama secured the verbal commitment of defensive tackle Alfred McCullough in July after his return from Indiana for the summer. He talks of his upcoming season and the additional official visit he will take during the season.

"Basically all the schools that have offered me are staying in contact," Alfred McCullough said from Athens, (Ala.). "Alabama, Louisville, South Carolina, Clemson and Ole Miss. I plan on taking an official visit to South Carolina during the middle of the season."

"I plan to take my official visit to Alabama the weekend of the Auburn game."

"I don't really know too much about South Carolina. I want to go up there and see what they are all about."

"I still feel very strong about my commitment to Alabama. I just want to make sure I am making the right decision."

The Golden Eagles, Class 5A Region 8, will open their season September 2 with a Class 4A Region 7 team.

"I think we are going to have a good team this year," McCullough said. "We should win state. We play Bob Jones at Home this week for our jamboree game. We play our first game at Home next week against East Limestone."
