Class 3A and 4A Top Performers Week Nine of the Alabama Prep Season.

Edward "Camp" Campbell
Quarterback 5-9, 150 pounds
Mobile-Bayside Academy

Campbell completed 15-of-20 pass attempts for 304 yards and six touchdowns. The senior's touchdowns came on passes of 33, 28, 13, 57, 9 and 12 yards in the 57-20 win over Excel. Bayside Academy will travel to Abbeville for the first round of the playoffs next week.

Cody Staten
Running Back 5-8, 185 pounds
Cordova

Staten rushed for 177 yards on just seven carries. The junior ran for three touchdowns of 35, 40, and 62 yards in the 62-0 thrashing of Winston County. Cordova will host Susan Moore in the first round of the playoffs as the second seed out of region 5.

Jamaal Cooper
Running Back 5-6, 155 pounds
Cordova

Cooper rushed for 138 yards on six carries. The sophomore scored on a 72-yard run.

Cane Allred
Running Back 5-8, 150 pounds
Cordova

Allred rushed for 104 yards on six carries. The senior scored on runs of 26 and 52 yards in the victory.

Chris Tinker
Defensive Back 5-10, 165 pounds
Glencoe

Tinker (junior) picked off two passes in the 27-14 win over Susan Moore. Glencoe is the second seed out of region 6 and will host an always tough Winfield in the first round of the playoffs.

Keon Washington
Running Back 5-10, 140 pounds
Gordo

Washington rushed for 147 yards on 11 carries in the 47-0 win over Greensboro. The junior scored two touchdowns in the win.

Jacob Pennington
Running Back 5-8, 175 pounds
Hokes Bluff

Pennington rushed for 218 yards in the 29-7 win over Weaver. The junior scored four touchdowns.

Noah Willis
Athlete 6-2, 185 pounds
Piedmont

Willis returned two punts for touchdowns in the 53-20 win over Ashville. The senior scored on the 55 and 52 punt returns.

Josh Sensor
Quarterback 6-0, 170 pounds
Pisgah

Sensor (senior) rushed for 156 yards and scored three touchdowns in the 42-13 win over Randolph.

Toby Pee
Running Back 5-11, 180 pounds
Sardis

Pee (sophomore) rushed for 222 yards on 22 carries scoring once in the 48-27 win over Geraldine.

Zach King
Quarterback 6-1, 170 pounds
Sylvania

King, his team and their opponent put up a basketball score when Sylvania took the decision 76-48. King rushed for 217 yards on 12 carries scoring on runs of 5, 17 and 44 yards. The sophomore completed eight-of-12 pass attempts for 187 yard and three more touchdowns of 42, 9, and 28 yards.

Anthony Herbert
Running Back 5-11, 170 pounds
Brewton-T.R. Miller

Herbert rushed for 340 yards on 17 carries in the 48-35 win over Montgomery Caholic. The senior scored four touchdowns of 79, 86, 14 and three yards in the win.

David Winslett
Quarterback 6-2, 175 pounds
Beauregard

Winslett completed 33-of-52 passing attempts for 358 yards and three touchdowns in the 44-34 loss to Dadeville.

C.J. Cutts
Running Back 5-9, 180 pounds
Centreville-Bibb County

Cutts rushed for 147 yards on eight carries in the 62-0 win over West Blocton. The junior scored three touchdowns.

Brandon Wells
Quarterback 6-4, 175 pounds
Calera

Wells completed six-of-nine pass attempts for 140 yards and scored on with 28-yard touchdown pass. The senior and commitment to Samford rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns of three and 29 yards in the 35-0 win over Childersburg. Calera is the fourth seed out of region 3 and will have the unenvied task of traveling to face Bibb County next week to open the playoffs. With Wells finally healthy this could become a dangerous team for the top seed.

Rocky Hayes
Running Back 5-11, 170 pounds
Heflin-Cleburne County

Hayes wasn't satisfied with the 346 all-purpose yardage school record he set last week. This week in a 39-34 win over Oneonta, the junior had 365 all-purpose yards. Hayes rushed for 257 yards rushing scoring three touchdowns including 95 and 97 yard runs. He also caught passes for 93 yards and returned a kick 15 yards in the win. Hayes has accumulated in two games nearly half of his output all of last year.

John Williamson
Wide Receiver 5-10, 165 pounds
Crossville

Williamson caught three passes for 105 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a touchdown on one carry in the 34-9 win over DAR. The senior also rushed for 142 yards on nine carries scoring twice. Williamson has 46 receptions for 760 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season.

Kyle Caldwell
Quarterback 5-8, 150 pounds
Dadeville

Caldwell and his team are undefeated region champions heading into he final week of regular season play. The senior in an amazingly accurate performance completed 19-of-22 pass attemtps for 270 yards and five touchdowns in the 44-34 win over Bequregard. Dadeville will face West Blocton in the first round of the playoffs.

Rashad Blackwell
Offensive/Defensive Lineman 6-0, 310 pounds
Dadeville

Blackwell accounted for 10 tackles and a sack in the win. The junior also caused two fumbles and recovered one.

Rod Crayton
Offensive/Defensive Lineman 6-0, 280 pounds
Dadeville

Crayton also counted 10 tackles and a sack. The big sophomore also caused a fumble and recovered two others.

Devonte Bell
Defensive End 6-2, 230 pounds
Dora

The junior played a part in six sacks for the Bulldogs in their 27-6 win over Good Hope. Dora will face top seed Anniston in the first round of the playoffs.

Daven Dixon
Running Back 5-8, 170 pounds
Hillcrest-Evergreen

Dixon (junior) rushed for 242 yards and scored three touchdowns in the 44-27 win over Alabama Christian. Hillcrest-Evergreen will face Thomasville in the first round of the playoffs.

Denzel Bynum
Defensive Back 5-10, 165 pounds
North Jackson

Bynum (senior) made two interceptions on defense and returned one pick for a 66-yard touchdown in the 42-14 win over Fairview. North Jackson is the top seed in region 7 and will host Brooks in the first round of the playoffs.

Jim Furlow
Running Back 5-7, 185 pounds
Oak Grove

Furlow rushed for 265 yards in the 32-14 win over Tarrant. The junior ran for three touchdowns of 17, 50 and 2 yards in the win. Oak Grove will host Oneonta next week to open the playoffs.

John Slayton
Running Back 5-9, 170 pounds
Montgomery-St. James

Slayton rushed for 157 yards on 19 carries in the 52-28 win over Bullock Cuonty. The senior scored five touchdowns in the win.

Tyler Hayes
Linebacker/Running Back/Punter 6-3, 220 pounds
Thomasville

Hayes effort helped to dismantle region rival Jackson in a 35-7 victory. The junior made six tackles and rushed for 66 yards on seven carries. He also caught two touchdown passes. The big linebacker/running back also averaged over 38 yards punting. The win secured the top spot in Class 4A region 1. They will host Hillcrest-Evergreen next week.

Harrison Lewis
Kicker 5-8, 155 pounds
Thomasville

Lewis (junior) kicked three extra points and two field goals of 38 and 41 yards in the win over Jackson.
