5-10, 160 pounds

Dora High School

Woods penciled his name into the record books Friday night when he caught 22 passes. His 303 yards was good enough for third place in AHSAA history. The senior scored two touchdowns of 47 and 35 yards in the 38-35 loss.

Jim Furlow
5-7, 185 pounds
Running Back
Oak Grove High School

Furlow (junior) rushed for 201 yards on 31 carries scoring three times in the 38-35 win over Dora.

Troymaine Pope
5-9, 150 pounds
Running Back
Anniston High School

Pope rushed for 263 yards on 44 carries in the double overtime win over St. Clair County, 34-33. The junior scored on runs of 10 and 46 yards in regulation and scored both touchdowns in overtime on seven-yard runs.

Andrew Williams
5-10, 165 pounds
Quarterback/Running Back
B.C. Rain High School

Williams rushed for 256 yards on 18 carries scoring four touchdowns of 6, 6, 66 and 72 yards. The senior completed five-of-11 pass attempts for 141 yards in the 40-20 victory over W.S. Neal.

Taylor Robertson
5-11, 160 pounds

Brooks High School

Robertson (senior) completed 10-of-12 pass attempts for 113 yards and two touchdowns in the 55-6 win over Priceville.

Brett Burgess
5-11, 165 pounds
Quarterback
Cherokee County High School

Burgess (senior) completed 12-of-15 pass attempts for 155 yards and two touchdowns of 4 and 41 yards. Burgess rushed for a two-yard score in the 41-26 win over DAR.

Brandon Jackson
6-1, 255 pounds
Athlete
Dallas County High School

Jackson caught four passes for 85 yards and scored with two touchdowns of 70 and 10 yards. The senior also rushed for an 11-yard score.

Ja'Mel Morris
5-11, 170 pounds
Defensive Back/Wide Receiver
Deshler High School

Morris picked off two passes in the 56-0 victory over West Limestone. The senior now has 10 interceptions on the season.

Evan Sims
6-0, 170 pounds
Quarterback
Fayette County High School

Sims completed 18-of-26 passing attempts for 254 yards and three touchdowns including a 29-yard score.

Dustyn Moseley
5-11, 180 pounds
Quarterback
Jackson High School

Moseley completed eight-of-10 pass attempts for 144 yards. The junior threw touchdown passes of 15, 24, and 24 yards in the 42-0 win over Monroe County.

Javea Swindle
5-5, 150 pounds
Running Back
Jemison High School

Swindle rushed for 302 yards on 19 carries in the 54-21 win over West Blocton. The junior scored on runs of 52, 27, 57 and 13 yards in the win.

Raheem Johnson
5-10, 205 pounds
Defensive Lineman
Midfield High School

Johnson made 19 tackles in the 14-10 loss to Haleyville. Johnson is a senior for the Patriots.

Andrew Brantley
6-1, 165 pounds

Crawford Steinberg
6-2, 185 pounds
Linebacker
St. James High School

Brantley blocked two extra point tries in the 32-28 win over Alabama Christian. The senior has four blocked kicks this year. Steinberg (senior) recovered a fumble, blocked a field goal, and had a deflected pass that was picked off for an interception.

Dedrick Forsythe
6-0, 180 pounds

Jonathan Rose
6-2, 180 pounds
Defensive Back
Leeds High School

Forsythe rushed for 149 yards on six carries with touchdown runs of 58, 53 and 27 yards in the 61-6 win over Beulah. Rose picked off a pass and ran it back 23 yards for a touchdown. The senior Auburn University commitment also returned a punt 81 yards for a score.

Hunter Edwards
5-10, 175 pounds
Linebacker
Marbury High School

Edwards made 11 tackles in the 35-27 win over B.B. Comer. The sophomore also forced a fumble and recovered two fumbles in the win.

Jacob Davis
5-9, 160 pounds

Sylvania High School

Davis ran for two touchdowns of 76 and 17 yards on offense and scored on a 72-yard interception return on defense in the 49-35 win over Sardis. The junior also made four tackles in the win.

Jaren Jackson
5-10, 170 pounds

Will Riggs
6-0, 165 pounds
Quarterback
T.R. Miller High School

Jackson caught the game winning touchdown on the final play, a 45-yard pass from quarterback Will Riggs. He caught two other passes for 16 yards and rushed for 101 yards and three touchdowns in the 36-35 thriller over Washington County. Riggs (senior) completed 10-of-14 passing attempts for 204 yards and two touchdowns including the game winner.

Josh Watkins
6-0, 210 pounds

Trinity Presbyterian School

Watkins (senior) had a dynamic night completing 19-of-25 pass attempts for 238 yards and three touchdowns. He rushed for 136 yards on 15 carries in the 35-22 win over Bayside Academy.

Zack Taylor
5-8, 180 pounds
Running Back
Winfield High School

Taylor (senior) rushed for 181 yards and five touchdowns of 6, 4, 4, 7 and 5 yards in the 59-7 win over Hanceville.

Tyler Marks
6-0, 185 pounds
Linebacker
Winston County High School

The senior linebacker made 16 tackles, forced a fumble, recovered another and made a pass breakup in the 40-8 win over Holly Pond.
