Luper completed 10-of-15 pass attempts in Auburn's come from behind 20-14 victory over Central Phenix City. The sophomore passed for 165 yards and two touchdowns of 39 and 8 yards. Webb (senior) snagged five passes for 84 yards including the two touchdown passes from Luper. Payne (senior), the big tackle, accounted for three sacks in the big region win.

Clay-Chalkville High School

Wright made 15 tackles with five for a loss of yards to go along with the senior's 2 sacks. Clay-Chalkville defeated Pell City 24-14. Owens (senior) made 17 tackles with one for a loss of yards in the region win.

Kendyll Williamson
5-8, 175 pounds
Davidson High School

Williamson (junior) completed eight-of-11 pass attempts for 190 yards scoring two touchdowns in the 52-6 win over Baker.

Justin Lasagna

Hewitt-Trussville High School

Lasagna keeps coming up with clutch performances for the Huskies. This week the senior kicked three field goals of 30, 30 and 37 yards in the 16-13 win over Oxford.

Hillcrest Tuscaloosa High School

Wingo rushed for 152 yards on 17 carries scoring twice on runs of 30 and 17 yards. The junior completed 11-of-12 pass attempts for 174 yards in the 35-14 over region foe Minor. Wingo's father, Rich, was a star for the University of Alabama. Brand (senior) made seven tackles, two sacks, one coming on third down on the goal line followed by a quarterback pressure on fourth down.

Hoover High School

Carter completed 18-of-20 pass attempts for 220 yards scoring on touchdown passes of 8 and 18 yards in the 48-28 win over Homewood. Cochran rushed for 120 yards on 14 carries. The senior scored on runs of 9, 1 and 19 yards in the win.

Detorrius Shipley
6-2, 215 pounds
Huffman High School

Shipley made 11 tackles in the 14-7 win over Shades Valley. The senior also had two sacks.

Lanse Watson
5-9, 195 pounds

McGill-Toolen High School

Watson rushed for 146 yards on 14 carries. The senior scored on runs of 12, 30 and 40 yards. He also caught a 17-yard pass for a touchdown in the 48-14 win over Satsuma.

Bryant Mitchell
5-10, 170 pounds

Satsuma High School

Mitchell rushed for 222 yards on 19 carries scoring a touchdown in the loss to McGill-Toolen. The senior scored on a four-yard run.

Edward Aldag

Mountain Brook High School

Aldag (junior) completed 14-of-18 pass attempts for 199 yards and two touchdowns of 61 and 25 yards in the 42-14 win over Oak Mountain.

Gray Cato
5-9, 150 pounds
Pelham High School

Cato (junior) completed 11-of-17 pass attempts for 207 yards scoring a touchdown in the 10-7 win over Thompson.

Jake Hoffman
6-2, 170 pounds
Spain Park High School

Hoffman kicked a pair or bookend field goals in the 19-16 win over undefeated Vestavia Hills. The junior kicked a 26-yard field goal in the first quarter and duplicated the 26-yard effort with two seconds left in the game.

5-9, 170 pounds
Vestavia Hills High School

Raspino (junior) made three field goals of 44, 37 and 20 yards in the loss to Spain Park.
