It's hard to believe we're only four games away from the playoffs, but many players are stepping up in big ways for their team. Here are the Stars of Alabama for the class 6A performers.
Carr Tigner
6-4, 190 pounds
Junior Quarterback
Justin Lasagna
6-2, 165 pounds
Senior Kicker
Hewitt-Trussville High School
Tigner completed 10-of-13 pass attempts for 137 yards and a 28-yard touchdown pass in the 17-14 win over Huffman. He also rushed for a two-yard score in the win. Lasagna hit the game winning field goal with seconds left. His 35-yard boot lifted the Huskies to a 17-14 win over Huffman.
Edward Aldag
6-0, 165 pounds

John McCrary
5-10, 155 pounds
Senior Wide Receiver
Mountain Brook High School
Aldag completed 12-of-13 pass attempts for 175 yards and two touchdowns of 31 and 42 yards in the 35-10 win over Spain Park. McCrary caught seven passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns in the 31 and 42 yards in the win.
Will Laughlin
5-11, 155 pounds

Joshua Matthews
5-10, 210 pounds
Sophomore Running Back
Decatur High School
Laughlin completed 10-of-16 pass attempts for 144 yards and three touchdowns of 10, 34, and 18 yards in the 28-0 win over Grissom. Matthews rushed for 74 yards on 14 carries scoring a two-yard touchdown. He caught four passes for 61 yards in the win.
Jerald Walker
5-10, 190 pounds
Junior Running Back
Central Phenix City High School
Walker rushed for 173 yards on eight carries including a 42-yard touchdown in the 48-0 win over Northview. Central Phenix City remains undefeated.
Demarcus Jones
5-8, 150 pounds
Senior Athlete
Smiths Station High School
Jones rushed for 145 yards on 10 carries including a 50-yard touchdown in the last minute 32-27 win over Enterprise.
Willie Curry
5-11, 175 pounds
Junior Running Back
Enterprise High School
Curry rushed for 164 yards on 24 carries scoring on a seven-yard run and second touchdown on a short run after he returned a kick 69 yards. He also caught a 23-yard touchdown pass in the heartbreaking 32-27 loss to Smiths Station.
David Johnson
5-7, 160 pounds
Junior Running Back
Shades Valley High School
Johnson put up another big performance rushing for 257 yards in the 48-45 loss to Austin. The junior carried the ball 17 times for a 15-yard per carry average.
Dallas Tidwell
6-7, 200 pounds

Gardendale High School
Even in a loss Tidwell is impressive. With 232 yards the
Troy
commitment completed 21-of-32 passing attemptsin the 19-10 loss to Northridge. Willis caught seven passes for 127 yards.
Chris Jones
5-10, 175 pounds

Minor High School
Jones rushed for 97 yards on 15 carries scoring twice on runs of 10 and 15 yards. He had 58 yards receiving and returned a kick 98 yards for a touchdown. The University of
Alabama
commitment also returned an interception for 35 yards in the 31-14 win over Jackson-Olin. The senior wound up with 288 all-purpose yards.
Alonzo Harris
6-1, 210 pounds

Gadsden City High School
Harris rushed for 124 yards on 25 carries scored two touchdowns of 21 and 7 yards in the 28-21 win over Clay-Chalkville. Harris has scholarship offers from FSU,

Owens made 13 tackles with one for a loss in the loss to Gadsden City. Wright made 12 tackles with one for a loss of yards in the loss.

Blount High School
Marsh returned an interception 54 yards and was a big part of Blount's dominating defense in the 46-0 win over Mary Montgomery. Marsh has scholarship offers to Grambling and

Oak Mountain High School
Oak Mountain finally got their first win to start the second half of the season over Thompson 20-14. Bostick rushed for 122 yards and scored three touchdowns of 1,6 and 4 yards in the win.
Israel Lamprakes
5-11, 175 pounds
Senior Wide Receiver
Daphne High School
Lamprakes rushed for two touchdowns of 1 and 13 yards. He also caught five passes for 84 yards in Daphne's 37-7 win over Satsuma.
Stuart Jacobs
5-9, 170 pounds
Sophomore Running Back
Vestavia High School
Jacobs rushed for 193 yards on 28 carries scoring three touchdowns of 5, 2, and 7 yards in the 42-20 win over Homewood.
