Big offensive performances marked the third week of the 2010 season. Here are the 5A and 6A Stars of Alabama for week three.

5-9 180 pounds
Senior Running Back
Pleasant Grove High School
Gardner rushed for 198 yards scoring on runs of 77, 1, and 26 yards. He caught two passes for 40 yards and returned a kick 96 yards for a score in his team's important region win over Hueytown 28-19. The senior had 347 all-purpose yards. He already has scholarship offers from Samford and
UAB
, but the list should increase if he keeps putting on displays like he did on Friday.

The
Washington State
commitment is playing “lights out” for the reigning 5A champions. He rushed for 320 yards in the team’s 53-8 win over Central Tuscaloosa. The senior scored three touchdowns on 25 carries on runs of 17, 30 and 4 yards. The short run came two plays after he covered 84-yards to get inside the 10-yard line. James also holds scholarship offers to in-state schools

Valley High School
Florence is melding into his new position a quarterback. This week the highly recruited defensive player completed 13-of-15 pass attempts for 142 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for another 56 yards on six carries while playing only the first half in a 48-0 win over Carroll-Ozark. Valley will face a tough region opponent this week in Charles Henderson.

Drummond made 18 tackles in his team's important region win over Cullman, 24-14 while Kirk picked off two passes in the win. Kirk is a commitment to

Senior Running Back
Cullman High School
Moore rushed for 173 yards on 32 carries. He had 213 all-purpose yards in the loss to Walker.
DeMorris Bledsoe
6-1 15 pounds

Sylacauga High School
Bledsoe rushed for 165 yards on 15 carries scoring three touchdowns of 62, 2, and 1 yards in their 54-3 win over Talladega.
Kevin Williams
6-0 160 pounds
Junior Quarterback
Fairfield High School
Williams pssed for two touchdowns of 23, and 24 yards and then ran for 37 and 10 yard runs. He accounted for 183 yards in the 33- 14 win over Wenonah. Fairfield faces a big test this week when they take on Pleasant Grove. Both teams are undefeated.

Dennis rushed for 278 yards on 21 carries in the 34-20 win over Booker T. Washington. He scored four touchdowns in the region win. The senior also completed four passes for 73 yards with a touchdown.

Etowah High School
The junior completed 20-of-30 pass attempts for 343 yards scoring three touchdowns of 29, 31 and 23 yards in his team's 27-17 win over Madison County. Wadley played fullback for this team last year.
Danny Woodson

LeFlore High School
Woodson did a little of everything in his team's 39-16 win over Gulf Shores. He threw a 28-yard touchdown pass, returned a punt for a 40-yard touchdown. For good measure he also completed a two-point conversion pass. Woodson is a commitment to the University of

Drake rushed for 190 yards on 14 carries in the 44-26 win over East Limestone. He scored on runs of 66, 3 and 1 yard runs.

Mortimer Jordan High School
Washington had an interception, blocked a punt that was returned for a touchdown and caught a 35-yard touchdown pass in their 43-0 win over West Point.

Greenville High School
Riley rushed for 222 yards and scored four touchdowns of 32, 1, 28 and 5 yards. He also passed for 90 yards and added another 38-yard touchdown in the team's 52-41 win over Paul Bryant.

Guzay picked off three passes in the 34-7 win over Columbia. He returned one for a 76-yard touchdown.

Theodore High School
Nelson has a powerful arm, a cool presence and a lot of experience as a starter for Theodore. This week the senior completed 18-of-25 passes for 307 yards and scored four touchdowns and looked impressive in doing it. The senior helped his team (3-0) to a 42-14 win over Alma Bryant. Hackworth caught seven passes for 163 yards including a score in the win. Dickerson caught five passes for 86 yards with two touchdowns including 23 yard grab.

Carter didn't get a full night in the 60-0 win over Oak Mountain, but he wins with talent and leadership. The senior completed 10-of-13 passing attempts for 187 yards and two touchdowns. Denson caught six passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns of 14 and 42 yards from quarterback Ryan Carter. The big receiver is a commitment to
Auburn.

Sunseri made 15 tackles and had a late interception to lead his team to an upset of Minor High School 35-24. Scarborough rushed for 193 yards on 11 carries scoring four touchdowns including a 67-yard run to ice the game. Northridge upset Minor 35-24.

Opelika High School
Hill rushed for 220 yards on 22 carries in the Bulldogs 27-21 win over Smiths Station avoiding an 0-3 start. The junior scored all four of the team's touchdowns on runs of 13, 32, 16 and 3 yard runs. Hill is the younger brother of former Auburn University defensive tackle

Spain Park High School
Cook saved the game when he chased down Homewood's star running back at the Jaguars 20-yard line and ran the ball back 45 yards to set up overtime. He also batted down Homewood's 2-point conversion, a jump pass, to preserve the first win of the season 36-35.

Abdullah continues to impress. The senior rushed for 177 yards on 23 carries against Spain Park scoring five touchdowns on runs of 1, 10, 6, 40 and 1 yards. Abdullah holds several scholarship offers.

Prewitt moved from defensive back last season to quarterback this year. The Rebels are 3-0 so far this year. Last week they defeated Thompson 28-13. Prewitt completed six of his 10 passes for 93 yards and scored two touchdowns. Salem rushed for 108 yards on 23 carries scoring on an 18-yard run. He also caught a 17-yard score from Prewitt.

Threatt rushed for 171 yards on five carries, one for a touchdown in the loss.
Joshua Matthews

Decatur High School
Matthews rushed for 129 yards on 25 carries scoring on a 5-yard touchdown run in the 28-7 win over Sparkman.
Zack Eades
6-2 210 pounds

Hewitt-Trussville High School
The Huskies have been stingy defensively only giving up seven points per game in the first three. Eades made 14 tackles in the 23-7 win over Austin.

Wingo completed 13-of-16 passing attempts for 140 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for 63 yards on four touches scoring twice in the 49-6 win over Bessemer City.

commitment continues to impress every week. He snagged passes totaling 177 yards including a 91-yard touchdown in the loss to undefeated Hillcrest Tuscaloosa.

Jones rushed for 138 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns of 54 and 23 yards. He also caught a touchdown pass for 33-yards and picked off a Northridge pass in the loss. Jones is entertaining several scholarship offers from SEC schools.

Holley rushed for 114 yards on 19 carries scoring two touchdowns of 22 and 20 yards in the 23-0 win over Jackson-Olin.

Harris rushed for 148 yards on 14 carries scoring two touchdowns in Auburn's exciting 57-44 win over Enterprise.

Wallace rushed for 114 yrds on eight carries scoring a 27-yard touchdown. He also completed six of 11 pass attempts for 134 yards with two touchdowns of 46 and 35 yards in the 33-17 win over Dothan.
