It was a career night for Fritts, and it only lasted 24 minutes. Week Three Stars of Alabama for Class 1A.

Fritts played only one half Friday night. The senior scored seven times (6, 18, 15, 62, 34, 42, and 36) rushing for 265 yards on 11 carries making his scoring rate per touch a staggering 64-percent. He already has a scholarship offer to
Vanderbilt
University. Linden defeated A.L. Johnson 82-0. Linden faces a huge region opponent this week in Sweet Water.

If you want to know what high school football in Alabama means you need look no further than the 2009 All-State defensive back Floyd Jones. He was injured with a possible concussion in the first half of the Shoals Christian game last week. The junior returned to the field with five seconds remaining and his team down by six and simply did what he had to do. He tossed a 55-yard scoring pass to force overtime. Hubbard won the game in the extra period 26-20.
Eddrick Harris punched in the final touchdown in overtime. He also accounted for 14 tackles, three pass breakups and rushed for two touchdowns in the win. Hubbard now gets the game they were probably looking down the road for in Hackleburg. Both teams are 3-0 to start the season.

The senior rushed for 231 yards and scored three times on runs of 23, 55, and 80 yards in the 33-6 win over Vina.
Colby Maddox
5-10 160 pounds
Senior Running Back/Defensive Back
Winterboro High School
Maddox rushed for 130 yards on 10 carries including a 34-yard score in the fourth quarter. The senior also intercepted a pass and returned it for a 70-yard touchdown in the 39-12 win over Talladega County Central.

McIntosh High School
Davenport led McIntosh’ fine defensive squad with 16 tackles and a sack in the 7-6 win over Marengo. Chestang added 11 tackles and rushed for 70 yards on 10 carries in the win.
Justin Madison
5-10 165 pounds

Berry High School
Madison made 19 tackles and a sack in Berry's 22-21 big win over Parrish.
Jacob Kennedy
5-9 155 pounds
Junior Quarterback
Berry High School
Kennedy rushed for 188 yards on 24 carries scoring three touchdowns in the win.
Nathan Coker
5-9 165 pounds
Junior Quarterback/Defensive Back
Collinsville High School
Coker rushed for 153 yards on 10 carries scoring two touchdowns in the 48-6 win over Gaston. The junior also passed for 49 yards and a score and picked off a pass on defense.

Wadley High School
Hunter rushed for 142 yards on seven carries scoring on touchdown runs of 65, 20 and 23 yards and converted a two-point conversion in the team's 48-24 win over Verbena.
Tyler Smart
6-0 190 pounds
Senior Defensive Back/Quarterback
Spring Garden High School
Smart had 14 tackles, 10 solo, and one tackle for a loss in his team’s 13-7 win over Valley Head. He also rushed for both touchdowns.
Andreas Lewis
6-2 195 pounds
Senior Wide Receiver/Defensive Back
Coffeeville High School
Lewis caught six passes for 108 yards scoring twice. He also rushed for 79 yards on five carries and tossed a 10-yard touchdown pass in his team's tight loss to Fruitdale, 22-19.
